Data will be kept accurate and up to date, collected fairly and for lawful purposes only, processed by HL Piercings within its legal and moral boundaries, protected against any unauthorised or illegal access by internal or external parties. Data will not be communicated informally, stored for more than 3 years, transferred to organisations, states, or countries that do not have adequate data protection policies, distributed to any party other than the ones agreed upon by the data’s owner (except legitimate requests by law enforcement authorities).

In addition to ways of handling the data, HL Piercings has direct obligations towards people to whom the data belongs. Specifically:

Personal, Medical, and emergency data are collected through a written form. This information is used and accessible specifically by HL Piercings employees to allow the safe practice of piercing in particular and may be shared with medical professionals should you require medical attention while at the HL Piercings premises.

Correspondence via emails and messages on other social media platforms leading up to and after the client’s piercing appointment are accessible to HL Piercings employees to help with appointments.

Photographs collected by the artist may also be used with the customer’s permission on social media platforms and the website for marketing purposes.

HL Piercings reserves the right to allow people to request that we modify, erase, reduce, or correct data contained in our databases.
